Da Nang
No place in Vietnam is developing as fast as Da Nang. For many years, it had the reputation of a remote area, but major changes are taking place: along the Han River, numerous new modern hotels, buildings, and restaurants are emerging. Spectacular recently built bridges affectionately span the river, and in the north of the city, the D-City skyscraper is rising from the flat land; on the other side of the city as well, the entire Non Nuoc beach is blooming with luxury hotels and vacation spots.
That being said, the city itself still preserves its conventional tourist sites, along with decent museums and three spectacular bridges. For most travelers, a couple of days in Da Nang enjoying the delicious beaches, restaurants, and nightlife is probably enough. Nevertheless, Da Nang’s street food culture absolutely deserves a closer look.
