For travelers entering Laos under this visa exemption framework, eligible citizens must ensure:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry to Laos.
- Passport with at least 02 blank pages.
The particularity of the visa exemption is that it is totally free and not subject to any application.
E-visa for a Maximum Stay of 30 Days
For travelers wanting to stay longer or those not on the exemption list, the E-visa is the most efficient choice (Apply via the official portal at https://laoevisa.gov.la/index):

Visa on Arrival (VoA)
Travelers from eligible countries can also obtain a Visa on Arrival directly at international airports and major land border checkpoints for a fee of $40β$50 USD in cash (30-day stay).
