Today, Amo Travel wants to present a special product to you called “Secret Hanoi.” It was created by three young people from Hanoi to show you the spirit of the city. You will cycle with a local guide following the zigzag avenues in the flower village of Ngoc Ha to see a B52 bomb crater and taste Vietnamese coffee in a unique café in the West Lake area. In this way, we will also tell you the history of the millennial city.
Continue following the lakeshore before heading to the Quang Ba area to visit the Kumquat garden cultivated along the Red River and the village of porcelain and ceramic merchants. Do not miss the chance to photograph bicycles or motorcycles heavily loaded with ceramic products. You will then arrive at the island in the middle of the Red River. The tour concludes with a visit to the historic Long Bien Bridge. Free lunch of your choice in local restaurants.
You will begin the afternoon with a “xich lo” (cyclo) ride through the Old Quarter, which is considered the historic center of the city—a place with a thousand-year history teeming with vitality and commerce. The Quarter consists of 36 streets, each dedicated to the sale of a specific product and thus bearing the name of that product: from colorful spices and food to shoes, clothing accessories, and even joss paper/fake money (Hang Ma). Passing through an interesting city market, you will head toward the Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem), linked to a legend of swords, emperors, and golden turtles, surrounded by ancient trees. You will visit the Ngoc Son Temple, an oasis of peace and tranquility, from which you have a beautiful view of the Turtle Tower (Thap Rua).
