INDOCHINA SAILS JUNK
Indochina Sails junks are built in Vietnam using local materials and the craftsmanship of specialized shipbuilders, artisans, and artists. Historically, they were built entirely of wood. The interior wood is “go huong” (scented wood), a highly resistant, fine-grained wood that adds a rich and warm character to the boats. Our fleet features spacious cabins, large private marble bathrooms, expansive sundecks with comfortable furniture, and elegant dining rooms and bars. We have designed our boats to international standards while maintaining the traditional Chinese junk style, creating an ideal balance between modern comfort and a nostalgic atmosphere.
The Fleet
Indochina Sails 1 & 2: Launched in 2007, these identical twin boats each feature 14 cabins (Superior and Deluxe). Deluxe cabins are slightly larger and located on the second deck.
Indochina Sails 3: Launched in late 2008, this boat features ceramic artworks from Bat Trang and silk decorations from Van Phuc village. It includes 15 cabins, including spacious Suites with Jacuzzis on the second deck.
Valentino: Launched in late 2007, perfect for an exclusive and intimate experience. It features 5 cabins (4 Deluxe and 1 Suite), all equipped with Jacuzzis.
Indochina Sails Premium: Launched in November 2010, this luxury addition features 24 well-equipped cabins, ultra-spacious common areas, a massage room, a gym, and a large indoor lounge on the second deck.
Valentino Premium: Launched in June 2010 for an even more exclusive experience, featuring only 2 Deluxe cabins (22 sqm).

Day Boat
On the second day of the 3-day/2-night itinerary, guests transfer to a smaller “Day Boat” from 08:30 to 16:00. This smaller vessel allows access to more secluded and private areas of the bay. Lunch is served on board. Guests keep their main cabins on the mother ship and only need to bring essential items for the day.
